amends

As I read Sherman Alexie's book, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, a large part of the story's impact on me, both as a part of Arnold's character and on the actual page of the book for me as the reader, were the 60+ illustrations by Ellen Forney. In my little review, I left that sentiment out and should not have. The drawings enhance the book to a degree that probably cannot be over emphasized and somehow do credit both to Mr. Alexie's judgment and Ms. Forney's talent.

I am impressed with her scope and talent and recommend that you watch for her in the future (and, of course, she already possesses an accomplished past worthy of review and exploration).
